Vivian Dsena as Abhay Raichand

Vivian Dsena plays the role of Abhay Raichand in this Indian Supernatural TV Series produced by Ekta Kapoor and created by Balaji Telefilms. The 23 year old Vivian started his career in modeling after becoming a Top 10 contestant in the Gladrags Mr. India contest in the year 2007. Vivian Dsena has modeled and promoted several reputed brands like Levis, Flying Machine, SPYKAR and PepeJeans. He also has done advertisements for Jet Airways, Pantaloons and Hyundai i10. He made his debut on Television as Vicky Walia in ‘Kasamh Se’ on Zee TV produced by Ekta Kapoor. After that he played Shiv in ‘Ganga’ which was aired on Colours. But the Serial which has given him fame and huge fan following is his character of Abhay Raichand, the Desi Edward Cullen, in ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’ on STAR One.

What do I say about the Character of Abhay Raichand? In the Serial he is the son of Chand and Haseena Raichand and love interest of Pia. He is a Vampire with a Golden Heart and someone who is more human than a human. The Character as of now looks to be inspired from the characters of Edward Cullen of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga and Stefan Salvatore of L J Smith’s Vampire Diaries. Some resemblance to Bill Compton of  True Blood based on the Sookie Stackhouse novels can also be seen in the character of Abhay Raichand. Vivian Dsena also plays the role of Abhayendra in this TV Soap.

Sukirti Kandpal as Piyali Jaiswal

Sukirti Kandpal plays the role of Piyali Jaiswal in the Vampire Romance Serial Pyaar kii ye Ek Kahaani. She is also Princess Gayatrisinghi Shivaranjini Maithali Gaurima Pandher in this Serial. This 24 year old actress has done several modeling assignments and also acted in several Serials before being approached to play the role of an Orphan Girl Piya who falls in love with a Vampire. She made a short appearance in 'Shhh... Koi Hai' as a Ghost. She played a leading role in 'Jersey No.10' in 2007 as a tennis player named Saakshi. She further shot to fame with the lead role of Dr. Riddhima Gupta in the extremely popular youth show Dill Mill Gaye on STAR One and Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo as Siddheshwari Singh. But now she is known more for her role as Pia in Pyaar kii yeh ek Kahani.

What do I say about the Character of Piyali Jaiswal? In the Serial she is the illegitimate daughter of Arnab Dobriyal and born to Suganth Jaiswal. She has spend most of her life at St Mary's Orphanage at Indore. She is the damsel in distress who always needs rescuing and love interest of Abhay Raichand. The Character of Piyali Jaiswal could be compared to IsaBella Swan of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga and Elena Gilbert of L J Smith’s Vampire Diaries. Her other character of Maithili could have been inspired from the character of Lady Katherine Pierce of Vampire Diaries.

Siddhant Karnick as Siddharth Mehra

Siddhant Karnick plays the role of Abhay Raichand’s Vampire Brother Siddharth Mehra in Ekta Kapoors Vampire Romance Serial Pyar ki ye ek Kahaani on STAR One Channel. This is said to be a negative role. Siddhanth shot to fame with his role as Arjun Khanna in Remix telecasted on STAR One. He has acted in movies like Fast Forward and Blue Oranges. Some other TV Serials are Rishta.com where he was Rohan’s College friend and Mahi Way on Sony Channel where he played the role of Ishan Singh Ahluwalia. Siddhant’s role as the charming Casanova Boss of Panchi Dobriyal and son of Chand Raichand has a lot of scope and is seemed to be inspired from the Character of Damon Salvatore of Vampire Diaries.

Priya Wal as Misha Dobriyal

Priya Wal plays the role of Misha Dobriyal in PKYEK. She is Piya’s best friend since Piya arrived at Dehradun and step sister in this Serial. She is Arnab and Madhu Dobriyal’s second daughter and younger sister of Panchi. Her tom-boyish Avatar and quick wit makes her a hot favorite with Pyaar kii ye ek Kahani Serial Fans. In this Serial, Misha is in love with an Architect named Shaurya Khanna, who later is revealed as a Gay. She is also being pursued by Shankar, whose proposal she rejected earlier. Priya Wal started her television career as Anvesha Banerjee in Remix. She also played the role of Ayesha in Jite Hai Jiske Liye. Priya was also a part of C.I.D. on Sony Channel as Dr. Nyla Rajyadhakshya. After that, Priya was seen in Yes Boss(TV series) as Imrati Devi and in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki as Aditi Agarwal.

Vahbiz Dorabjee as Panchi Dobriyal

Vahbiz Dorabjee play’s the role of Panchi Dobriyal in PKYEK. Vahbiz is an indian model and eying for the Bollywood. In the Serial she plays the role of Arnab and Madhu’s elder daughter and sister to Misha. She is also the step sister of Piya. She is an ex student of Mount College where Piya and Misha are studying and still takes part in the student activities. She had a breakup with in Danish whom she was about to get married to after finding that he was cheating on her. She has now taken up the job as PR Manager for Siddharth who runs a Construction Company. Her Casanova and Vampire Boss seem to be having a soft corner for her and she also seems to be falling for him.

Vishal Gandhi as Kabir Singh Rathore

Vishal Gandhi plays the role of Kabir Singh Rathore in Pyaar kii ye ek Kahaani. Vishal Gandhi has appeared in several advertisements and acted in several Hindi Television Serials before PKYEK. As a teenager he acted in a film called Ikka Raja Rani which starred Govinda and Rani Two of the popular Serials he has acted are Aahat and Bandhan Saat Janam Ka. Vishal Gandhi is married and his wife works as a Manager with Kingfisher Airlines. In Pyaar ki ye ek Kahaani Vishal plays the role of Kabir who is the younger cousin brother of Danish. He is the heart-throb of Mount College and comes from an elite family in Dehradun. He is the childhood friend of Misha and is in love with Piya. I am not sure if Kabir is the Desi Matt Honeycutt /Tyler Lockwood (Vampire Diaries) or Jacob Black (Twilight) as of now. Let's see!

Madhura Naik as T aka Tanushree Ambolkar

Madhura Naik plays the role of Tanushree Amborkar aka T in Pyaar ki ye ek Kahani. The 27 year old Madhura Naik started her Career as a Model in the year 2007. She has acted in several Television Serials like Kahe na Kahe, Kahani Ghar Ghar ki, Sangam, Kayamath, Kis Des mein hai mera dil, Sapna Babul ka Bidhaii, Shakunthala and Dil mil gayye. Presently she is seen in PKYEK and Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. She has also acted in Hindi Films like GoodBoy Bad Boy and Pyaar Impossible. The role of T which she portrays in Pyar ki ye ek kahani is a very blunt one. T is projected as a highly snobbish and style conscious girl. She hates Piya and never leaves a chance to insult her but mostly end up making a fool of herself because of Misha Dobriyal. Could T aka Tanushree Ambolker be a character similar to Caroline Forbes of Vampire Diaries? I do see the signs. Anyways, Let's watch!

Gautham Gulati as Shaurya Khanna

Gautham Gulati plays the role of Shaurya Khanna, an Architect who comes to Mount College for repairing the damage during the Earth Quake. Misha Dobriyal fancies him but she is not aware that he is a Gay.  Shaurya is in love with Shankar who is in love with Misha. Gautham Gulati was seen prior to Pyaar ki yeh ek Kahaani enacting the comic role of Teji in the STAR Plus Show Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana.
